Rise at sunrise to have the best attractions all to yourself while avoiding the crowds. Its a great time for photos and to meet the locals. You can always sleep in when you get home!

Back Everything Up!
Just in case - and if needed you'll be glad you did! Droppping your computer bag, having your computer or smart device stolen, leaving it behind on the taxi, under the restaurant table ... you get the idea!
Before you leave back up your travel itinerary and official documents on a USB so you can also load up new photos or information as you travel. Consider a multi-platform note taking app in the Cloud as an extra precaution.
Pack some Ear Plugs!
Muffle crying babies on airflights - or that stranger who just won't stop talking to you on the bus into town.
If you need them - they can be a traveller's best friend and they take up little space in your carry-on luggage.
